Karaoke
I remember the days, (scarily two decades or so ago), when Karaoke machines were all the rage. Regardless of how ageing that last remark was, I find myself quite stunned at how expensive Karaoke machines are even now. For poops and giggles I thought I’d buy one to have some fun with at Christmas but not at those prices! Even the ones aimed for kiddies are around the £70 mark and they can range up to hundreds of pounds. For a Karaoke machine. For something your sherried-up Nan will have a go at twice a year. For something which elicits a Vic-Reeves-Pub-Singer performance from anyone within a two mile radius.
Maybe I’m just tight with money. You know what they say; you can take the lass out of Yorkshire, but you’ll never take Yorkshire out of the lass.
